Fernie

Home again after 5 months in Canada and what an amazing trip it was. Here are a few shots from the town of Fernie (where I lived) and surrounding areas. A place I truly hope to one day visit again.

Jibbing in Fernie

Mark (my flatmate) came home the other day excited about the BMX track in town which had recently been covered in snow and was apparently really fun to jib around in. Insistently, he had me go with him to check it out. So we somewhat ambitiously packed our boards and headed down, arriving to find some locals had beaten us there. In an attempt to save our dignity and our backs we left our boards in the car and decided to watch for a while. I instantly i regretted not bringing my camera! So much so that i drove home to pick it up. Pretty glad i did.
